Fever's ascension
and the swelling of glands
brings forth this restless dreaming
in the hypnogogic state
I watched the smile of
a cartoon dog
turn from the ivories of keyboard fame
to the dull grey reminders of tombstones
as if anything
could be everything
I heard the laughter of betrayal
kissing vegitarian lips with meat on my breath
the stains appear periodically
keeping company with roaches of another kind
Beck on the loudspeaker
the loudspeaker beckons
"How you like me now, baby?"
