SKY DANCER LAMENT

red dakini
dance back from the sky
to bring me awareness
of the true realms
feast on my heart
in return for your favors
feast on my bones
for I will not return
carry me across
the barriers of this mind
free me
from the bonds of this body
bring me the death lotus
that I might drink of its nectar
and put down my sword
cool it's flame in your waters
to the sheath forever consigned
I will fight no more
return sky dancer
to feast on my heart
for I have no use for it
I am ready to see new realms
bring me the awareness
that I might forget this place
I embrace my demon with compassion
and she flees into the sky
dancing
