DISCIPLINE

Examining every minute detail
reveals spaces
between the elements of all reason and rule
our solid proof suddenly made intangible
through the eyes of rightious delusion
even if I am wrong about myself
I am right about everything else
for having previously gone through the motions of
taking snapshots
using instruments
specifically designed to gather and measure
the data we had hoped to find
we thought we could
safely speak
our accepted nonsense
and agreed to keep the ceiling
on our house
thus the universe became more easily guarded
secretly
everyone knows that
they can sprout wings and soar
on to a better world
but that requires becoming disciplined
and taking responsibility for one self
in all respects
that includes what is taken
into one's self
and where it comes from
detoxify physically
mentally
and spiritually
break it all down
inside
and it is not separate pieces anymore
it is all the same
moving in the same direction
one rhythm
having found center
realign
as desired
and realize
possibilities
beyond
