Did You See Them Chasing That Ambulance... ?

Did you see them chasing that ambulance with the brakes broken and the siren going eternal past the supernovas and their dead children?

That was I in the paddy wagon stuck with needles flowing like thee earth with rivers of blood and years of darkness chased by the babes evicted from their stripped woods down the street of the Americas all of us poised for convalescence, awaiting our resurrections.

Did you see that ambulance, it sputtered into the hospital, empty but for a few small fires here and there in an upright garden of broken glass reflecting the clouds, which march above us without notice?

Elephants and their priorities-
water and trees.

In the operating room the surgeon is an embalmer, his mercy as boundless as his tear ducts puffy with too much love for a limited race.

Did you see that ambulance, it rides festooned with zombies, for everywhere is ground zero and we all wait for emergency assistance only to be disappointed with coroners instead of doctors.

The babes in the woods cry, it’s all they’ve ever known to do.
