Nature Boy!
Nature Boy! is no more, but for a few brief mindblowing years they produced some fine improvisational art-rock noise.
Based in Las Vegas from 1994 through 1998 they played in and subsequently were banned from a number of local venues.
While still active they released one recording, Karaoke Abattoir, which stands as their defining document.
Karaoke Abattoir gives 72 minutes of insight into the nature of Nature Boy, but only hints at the insanity of their live shows, which have been described as 'hilarious' and 'orgasmic.'
Spirit Caller dedicates this page to the memory of Nature Boy! and plans to re-release on CD the previously cassette-only Karaoke Abattoir.
There is also a large trove of unreleased material waiting to be mined for future release.
The core members were Jason "Quiggle Beast" Quiggle, Meagan "Me Again" Angus, Brian "Where the Hell is He?" Hildebrand, Tom "Fresno Bob" Deitner, Jennifer "Cute But Deadly" Lazaro-Tuomala, and Scott "Marvin Scott Marvin" Tuomala.
Other contributors were Tara "Part", Jason Shirley, Royce Ramirez, Eva Stile, Rob "Prisoner" Flickenger, and others too numerous to mention.
